Join Our Team as an Integrated Facility Management (IFM) Quality & Finishing Technician:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Quality & Finishing Technician to provide repair, cleaning, and preventative maintenance services for customer equipment at industrial and commercial facilities.
This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with experience in industrial finishing, commercial HVAC systems, air quality, filtration, and equipment maintenance who enjoys troubleshooting problems, working directly with customers, and supporting high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair customer equipment in the field.
- Perform preventative maintenance, cleaning, and servicing of industrial and commercial systems.
- Lead industrial paint, finishing, filtration, HVAC, and indoor air quality maintenance projects.
- Provide technical training and support for customers and technicians.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding equipment repairs and service needs.
- Document service work and maintain accurate service reports in company systems.
- Maintain and test service equipment and tools before and after use.
- Assist with special projects and technical service initiatives.
- Support product demonstrations and customer training both in the lab and in the field.
- Participate in establishing service and maintenance contracts.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Required Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of skilled trades or technical field service experience.
- 1 year of experience in a focused application or product line.
- 1 year of experience in at least two of the following areas:
- Industrial finishing or paint systems.
- Powder coating / finishing.
- Commercial HVAC.
- Industrial cleaning systems.
- Filtration and indoor air quality.
- Mold remediation or duct cleaning.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience disassembling, repairing, and reassembling equipment.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and electrical diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals, safety procedures, and service documentation.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 5%.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Ability to learn company service systems and maintain equipment records.
- Must be able to work in environments that may include:
- Paint and solvent odors.
- Moving mechanical parts.
- Electrical equipment.
- Airborne particles or chemicals.
Certifications:
- Mold and duct cleaning certifications preferred.
- Ability to obtain certifications from primary vendors within 6 months (Graco, GEMA, Fanuc, Sames, CFT, etc.).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, climb, stand, stoop, kneel, and bend regularly.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
