Competitive Pay: This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $23.00/hr. to $26.00/hr., depending on experience and qualifications.
Position: Assembler 2
Essential Duties:
- Work from drawings, blueprints, sketches, verbal or written instruction such as work order process sheets.
- Assemble electro-mechanical / pneumatic components, as required.
- Perform wiring of control panels, extrusion framing, fabrication and build.
- Testing of assembled valves, pumps, wire harness, and other component assemblies.
- Utilize a variety of handheld tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, crimpers, cutters, power and other tools as required.
- Responsible for product quality and production quantity – work must be inspected to ensure conformity to specifications and quality standards before, during, and after completion.
- Prepare and package finished work for shipment and/or storage, as required.
- Maintain quality records, forms, or other pertinent data, as instructed or required.
- Assist in developing quality control processes.
- Assist in developing procedures and work instructions.
- Assist in leading MDI Meetings.
- Maintain area in a clean and orderly condition to facilitate manufacturing functions.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Any other tasks as assigned by lead/manager.
Education / Skills:
Physical Requirements:
- Sit/Stand for prolonged periods at a bench or table to assemble electro-mechanical parts.
- Handling and Moving Objects — Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
- Manual Dexterity — The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
- Finger Dexterity — The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.
- Retrieving and / or filing documentation from other departments.
- Handling – moving, lifting (up to 40 lbs) parts to and from bench or cart.
